Tired of being ignored by the city

Mr. Hull,

Well once again my neighborhood here in Rio Rancho has been forgotten and does not appear to have any services from this city and your administration! I still have a huge crack in the street in front of my home, yet the streets in the obviously more affluent nearby neighborhoods get new streets, not even patched streets (Saint Andrew Drive). I wonder who lives on that street? A friend, a council member, a big donor?

Well, yesterday it really hit home for me and others in my neighborhood! One of the neighbors decided to have a full-blown party with a live band that also decided to play, sing and raise hell from 2 p.m. until 9 or 9:30 p.m. Of course, the responsive Rio Rancho Police Department was called from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. but never received a response.

131.06 UNREASONABLE NOISE: (A) It is unlawful for any person to make, continue to make or cause to be made, any loud or unusual noise which either annoys, disturbs, injures or endangers the comfort, repose, health, peace or safety of others.

Why do we have an ordinance if the police department does not enforce it?

You have gotten the last vote for mayor from me and several of my neighbors and do not come to my home again because the last thing I want to hear is more bull from a feckless politician!
