LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Trump policies only benefit the rich

Live in fear is what the MAGA cult wants us to do if we don’t bend the knee to Trump like they have.

I moved here from Tennessee, and the MAGA cult politicians there are just the same. Republicans who used to be honorable and respectable both at the state and federal level who drank the orange poison and serve only Trump giving up on the people who elected them for a crazed dictator who serves himself. They concocted this Big Beautiful Bill that will cut taxes, but it’s full of loopholes and supports only the billionaires. The health care is practically stripped away, of course the new Republican plan they have been pushing for years is “You Gonna Die Anyway.” They strip away food for children, sell off our land, bring back asbestos, anything that can benefit big business and Trump cronies are being pushed.

The worst part is shredding more of the Constitution for Trump's benefit to ignore the courts as he merrily breaks the law as he deports innocent people off to who knows where. As Americans (except the MAGA cult), we should realize by now everything Trump spews out of his mouth is a lie. I think we do and can only hope there will be a shift in power in the House and Senate at the midterms, if our democracy survives that long. Living in fear is only for the MAGA cult that drank the poison. They worship their orange god; they can fear him but not the rest of us!
