LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Congress needs to act on Trump

Published Modified

It appears that Donald J. Trump has taken over as the Chairman of the Board of Intel. No, it's not a conspiracy theory. Just this (last month), Trump called for the immediate resignation of the Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan. Seems to me that his narcissism has gone rampant.

While not much about our president's ranting, often unintelligible, and comical rhetoric surprises me, this must be either a monumental break from the rational or a planned stock manipulation attempt. Either way, we should all be concerned. And most importantly, Congress should not just notice, but act. We either have a good case for invoking the 25th Amendment (it outlines procedures for the vice president to assume presidential duties if the president is incapacitated) or a case of impeachable abuse of power. Take your pick; either would help to stop the bleeding.
