LETTER: Leery of city trying to hide records

After the Rio Rancho city attorney has cost us thousands of dollars in his losing efforts to hide government records, now the city council is foolish enough to propose the New Mexico

Legislature bail the city out by restricting public access to records that involve public information. Is the city council in the pocket of a losing city attorney, or do they just want to cover up their own desire to hide from the voters? I don’t know the answer, but I’m suspicious of all politicians who want to hide government records.
