LETTER: Dapson a foward thinker

In the past, the Observer had a policy of not publishing letters about specific candidates. However, you recently published a letter endorsing three candidates for the city council.

So, I write today in support of Deb Dapson, who is a candidate for District 1. She has a broad perspective as a 15-plus year resident of Rio Rancho and a small business owner and, as such, believes good infrastructure is essential for both residential and commercial growth. She will support and work toward upgrading and maintaining our roads and utilities and establishing proper water management in order to promote this growth sustainably. We need this forward thinking so we do not have transportation, communication and utility problems hindering our growth as a City of Vision. As a 40-plus year resident of Rio Rancho I wholeheartly support Deb Dapson to represent us all in District 1.
