There is a wind advisory in effect today from 10 am to 6 pm with winds getting up to 50 mph in some areas.
Albuquerque National Weather Service says, “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.”
Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs may be blown down.
Expect strong crosswinds on area roadways. Travel will become dicey for commuters.
