Two people arrested in connection to Rainbow Park and Pool shooting
There was no police presence at around noon at Rainbow Park, though a shooting had occurred there earlier July 10.

RIO RANCHO — Two people were arrested Thursday following a morning shooting involving another person at Rainbow Park and Pool, the Rio Rancho Police Department stated in a news release.
The suspects, whose identities were not provided, were lodged in jail for questioning about the shooting, which police said occurred at approximately 9:40 a.m. today and resulted in one adult male being transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There is no threat to public safety at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing, the department stated in its release.
