Trial scheduled for Ribera man accused of killing his wife in RR

Pablo Padilla was arrested for murder, among other charges, after allegedly shooting his wife in the head while driving to Rio Rancho April 3.
He has been scheduled for a trial next year.
According to a scheduling order, Padilla will face a jury trial starting Aug. 25, 2025.
Padilla's case will next be subject to the discovery process. Evidence will be looked at and witnesses will be questioned.
