Traffic delays loom on Coors during reconstruction
If you are heading in to Albuquerque this weekend, beware, there’s going to be some traffic closures on major thoroughfares.
The New Mexico Department of Transportation warns motorists of traffic impacts beginning this weekend through early next week as road construction on I-40 between 98th Street and Coors Boulevard enters its final stage, according to the announcement.
Motorists traveling on both the east and westbound lanes of I-40 may be affected by this work. There will be various temporary lane and ramp closures during this portion of the project. These closures are required to complete this $19.5 mil project.
