The Placitas Garden Tour, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, will provide its seventh annual tour at 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 10.
Six gardens were chosen to represent Placitas, including hilltop mesa views, plant-filled rooms and a functional winery.
“Each homeowner has designed garden spaces that reflect their art and personality, often with areas for reflecting, relaxing and entertaining friends,” reads a press release.
Among the featured gardens are that of Joann and Scott MacKenzie, who have lived in their Placitas home for 12 years. Their home includes a backyard entertainment space, a private sitting area, xeriscape gardens, sustainability features, local art and a shaded upper level with a fire pit.
Online ticket sales begin on Aug. 1. For more information, visit placitasgardentour.com.
