Teen motorcyclist in critical condition after accident

RIO RANCHO — A 16-year-old is listed in critical condition after a serious accident Nov. 21.

Rio Rancho Police confirmed Nov. 25 that the teen was traveling on a motorcycle at a high rate of speed heading south on Unser Boulevard. The teen collided with an SUV as it was turning into the Good 2 Go gas station.

The driver of the SUV sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The motorcyclist is a juvenile and, as of Nov. 26, the name has not been released.
