The teenager accused of murdering a woman last month will get a trial this year.
Joshua Mora, 17, of Rio Rancho, who was arrested for the murder of Heather Nichole Lamb, 44, of Albuquerque, will go to trial Nov. 4. Mora will have turned 18 by then.
Mora was arraigned May 9 for the crimes and was remanded to the custody of Bernalillo County Juvenile Detention Center as he awaits trial. A grand jury indicted him for murder and tampering with evidence May 2.
Before the trial, both the prosecution and the defendant will be subject to the discovery process, including examination of evidence and interviewing witnesses.
