Tan Pants Bandit strikes again; reward still stands
Tan Pants Bandit caught on video robbing the Rio Grande Credit Union in Rio Rancho.
The Tan Pants Bandit, who the FBI and Rio Rancho Police Department are seeking public help to identify after a robbery last month, robbed the Rio Grande Credit Union of Rio Rancho again on April 1.
The FBI and Rio Rancho Police Department are again seeking the public’s assistance to identify him.
The suspect is a white male with a stocky build at about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, tan pants, a black beanie, a white face mask, glasses and black Nike shoes.
The suspect entered the Credit Union and demanded money from the teller. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.
The FBI's reward of $2,000 still stands for this man's identification.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
