The FBI confirmed Aug. 1 that the "Tan Pants Bandit" was arrested after six bank robberies in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho.
The Tan Pants Bandit — also known at one time as the grey pants bandit — is suspected at robberies at First Financial Credit Union March 4, Rio Grande Credit Union of Rio Rancho on April 1 and at the Washington Federal May 3.
Authorities have not released his name.
