Storm, Rams Powerlifting squads compete in second season meet
The Rams powerlifting team after the Feb. 22 dual at RRHS.
RIO RANCHO – The results were a bit of a mixed bag for the Rams powerlifting team, but the event was a success.
The Rams took on Cibola this weekend, Feb. 22, at the RRHS Field House. Twelve girls competed for the Rams, and they won 67-37. Unfortunately, the nine Rams boys lost.
“Thank you, Cibola, for the sportsmanship,” the Rams said on social media. “Thank you to all our judges, loaders, spotters and table workers. Great meet!”
The Cleveland Storm hopped on a bus out west to take on the Grants High School Pirates. Results from that match are still pending. Visit rrobserver.com for updates.
Next up for the Storm, the Eldorado Eagles head to town on March 8.
