of New Mexico is hosting its Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Annual Celebration Luncheon on Jan. 16.The luncheon begins at noon at the

Church of Christ Rio Rancho

and will feature Dr. Roger Jackson Jr. as guest speaker.Jackson Jr. serves at Chief of Field, Membership and Units for the NAACP at the national office in Baltimore. He will be speaking on Dr. King’s legacy and how it applies to America today.Attendees should arrive at 11:30 a.m., and tickets can be purchased online.
