Update: The road is now open

A serious accident at around 3 p.m. Wednesday involving two pickup trucks shut down Southern Blvd. from Nicklaus to Golf Course while police investigate today.

It is unclear when the road will be open again.

There weren’t any ambulances on scene at the time.
