RIO RANCHO — Presbyterian Rust Medical Center welcomed its first baby of 2025 at 12:54 a.m. Jan. 1.
Sophie Agnir was born to parents Tabitha Agnir and Rodolfo Gutierrez of Rio Rancho. She weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces and was 17 1/2 inches long.
She followed the first baby born at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, Arraya Rose Gutierrez, who was born at 12:45 a.m. to parents Ariana Flores and Jesus Gutierrez of Belen. She weighed 7 pounds, 1.6 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.
