RRPS science materials open house welcomes community feedback
RRPS is hosting an open house this weekend to review instructional science materials for the coming cycle.

This Wednesday, Jan. 29, the RRPS Curriculum and Instruction Department will be hosting an open house for science instructional materials that K-12 adoption teams are considering. It’s a chance for parents to review materials, ask questions and provide feedback.
According to a news release from RRPS, “District representatives will be present to answer questions and give more information about materials at every grade level.”
The open house will take place from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the RRPS Training Center (Rooms 1-3).
According to the New Mexico Public Education Department, the state adopts new science materials every five years. The current contract is completed at the end of this school year.
