RRPS holds third Lunch & Learn session

Rio Rancho Public Schools held its third Content Connection Committee Lunch & Learn meeting of the 2022-23 school year Wednesday.
Erica Lozano, Secondary Coordinator for Social Studies and English Language Arts for RRPS, led the virtual meeting, which focused on grade level learning outcomes for students. The district is setting new social studies standards at each grade level and is expecting new outcomes of staff and students. Wednesday’s meeting was designed to take a deeper dive into what those standards might look like for grades 6-12 and how parents and guardians can support and help their students reach those standards.
RRPS is asking for
feedback from the communityon what was discussed in the meeting.The next Lunch & Learn session will take place at noon Feb. 8 on Zoom and will focus on the instructional materials review process in RRPS.
