RRPD to hold explorer academy for ages 14-20
RIO RANCHO — Rio Rancho Police Department will hold a weeklong academy for students ages 14-20 interested in training as a police officer from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 21-25 at Rio Rancho Middle School.
Participants will receive hands-on training and participate in various scenarios. Cadets will attend both classroom and physical agility training.
On the final day of the academy, RRPD will host a graduation ceremony. Parents, friends, and family may attend.
Deadline for registration is 5 p.m. July 15.
