RRPD therapy dog to make first public appearance at Movie with the Cops tonight

Rio, the new therapy dog with Rio Rancho Police Department, will be making her first public appearance tonight.
Rio, who successfully passed to her next phase of training last month, will join RRPD officers at Movie with the Cops at 6 p.m. at Premiere Cinema 14.
The public is invited to watch “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” with officers and Rio. Tickets are $5.40 each.
According to RRPD, Rio visited RRPD offices last month and “has quickly become everyone’s favorite coworker.”
