The New Mexico Department of Transportation has announced that NM 528 from Ridgecrest Drive to Alberta Avenue will have traffic flow reduced to one lane Saturday and Sunday.

According to an NMDOT press release, the lane-use decrease comes because of a two-day traffic switch operation. Weather permitting, crews will remove and reset temporary concrete barriers, impact shock-absorbing barriers and stripes.

NMDOT advised motorists to expect delays or seek an alternate route.

Crews will continue to have no left turns on southbound NM 528 with the exception Sundt Road.
