Rio Rancho High School won its second straight NMAA State High School One-Act Production competition earlier this month.

RRHS, the 2022 state champs, won the 2023 competition in Las Cruces Oct. 7.

The One-Act Production is a statewide drama competition featuring high schools from across New Mexico to participate and compete in a three-day festival of short one-act plays. This year, the event was hosted at Organ Mountain High School.

Cleveland High School took second place.

RRHS also won first place in Lights and Sounds and Stage Management and second place in Backstage Crew and Costumes.
