Rio Rancho Chamber accepting applications for Board of Directors

The Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Committee is accepting applications for the 2024 Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors consists of 20-25 members and typically meets monthly. All members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors offer time, thought and support to better the business environment and the community. Board member duties consist of attending functions as well as volunteering their time and energy for various chamber programs. Board member terms are limited to two consecutive three-year terms.

Consideration for a board position requires the nominee’s organization to have been a member for greater than 12 consecutive months and be a member in good standing. No more than one representative from any member organization may serve on the board simultaneously.

The chamber encourages its members to apply. Applicants are reviewed by the Executive Committee based upon service in the chamber as well as background and experience. This slate of directors is presented to the Board of Directors in October and announced to the entire membership at the Chamber’s Annual November Meeting and Planning Session. Seating of the new board will take place at the January 2024 Board of Directors meeting.

All applications should be submitted to Susan at the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce Office no later than noon on Sept 29. The applications can be submitted via email: Susan@rrrcc.org or dropped off at the Chamber offices at 4201 Crestview SE.
