Rick's Prehistoric Mini Golf to close permanently Dec. 31

RIO RANCHO- Rick's Prehistoric Mini Golf recently announced that they will be closing their doors permanently Dec. 31.
In a post on their Facebook account, they mentioned struggles to sustain the level required to stay open.
"I am grateful for all the support the community has shown over these past months as you have come out to Rick's Prehistoric Mini Golf to play and create memories with your family and friends," owner Richard "Rick" Lane said.
This past summer, the mini golf location opened its doors, and swept the West Side area with their signature animatronic dinosaurs.
Despite the recent closure, Lane remains hopeful that his business "Rick's Adventure World" will be back eventually.
And for the time that Rick’s Prehistoric Mini Golf remains open: soft serve is half off, all merchandise has been significantly discounted and a liquidation sale will ensue, according to Lane.
"It's been a great pleasure serving the community and we are sad that our place has to close," he said.
