Red head summoned for aggravated assault at RR Elite Physique

Marci Beagan, 43, of Albuquerque, was summoned for aggravated assault Oct. 2 at Elite Physique on NM 528.

Officers responded to the gym after a caller said a woman with red hair had pointed a gun at him. The caller said they had just pulled into a parking spot when another car pulled up next to them. They said the woman driver “seemed angry and elevated” but that they did not pay much attention to her at first.

The caller said they then curiously rolled down the window and asked what the issue was. She continued swearing, mumbling and “acting bizarre.” She then got out of her vehicle and shouted, “F— you! Screw you!” and pulled out a gun from her waistband, according to the police report.

A witness said they saw the whole thing and heard Beagan say, “I’ll shoot you.” to the victim a couple of times.

A front desk employee was able to identify Beagan, a member of the gym, to police based on her description.

Officers attempted to contact Beagan at her most recent Rio Rancho residence, but she hadn’t lived there for two years. They also tried calling her but she did not pick up. RRPD issued a summons for Beagan. If convicted, she will face 18 months in prison and have to pay fines.
