Public meetings on Valles Caldera Preserve set

The National Park Service is planning a series of public open house meetings regarding the plan concepts for Valles Caldera National Preserve.

The open houses are set for May 22 at the Misión y Convento in Española, May 23 at El Zócalo Plaza in Bernalillo and May 24 at the Walatowa Visitor Center in Jemez Pueblo. All of these events will run from 4-7 p.m.

Additionally, the National Park Service will host a virtual presentation at 5 p.m. May 17.

Details about the meetings and the upcoming public comment period will be shared in the near future.
