Election Day for the 2024 primary election is here.

Thirty-one people threw their hats in the ring to run for office in Sandoval County on filing day in March. Several races require a primary election to determine who gets a spot in the general election in November.

Tuesday, those races will be decided by voters.

There are 33 polling locations throughout Sandoval County, including the Office of the Clerk. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 4.

Early and absentee voting closed on June 1 with 9,493 votes being cast in Sandoval County.

“Providing our residents with multiple voting sites at easily accessed locations is a priority,” Sandoval County Clerk Anne Brady-Romero said. “We want everyone in Sandoval County to be able to cast their vote with confidence and convenience. The Bureau of Elections has done an excellent job of securing voting sites to accommodate our residents.”

All polling locations are Voter Convenience Centers (VCCs), and voters can vote and same-day register to vote at most sites.
