Christopher Ingram, 33, of Albuquerque, was arrested for battery of a police officer, concealing identity and resisting arrest at the McDonald’s in Bernalillo Aug. 8.

Bernalillo officers responded to a criminal trespass call at 8:13 p.m. at the McDonald’s on the US 550 in Bernalillo.

When officers attempted to talk to Ingram, he looked at them and then turned away. Then he said, “Who are you?” and turned to face the officer. He looked at the officer from “head to toe” as the officer said they were with Bernalillo Police Department.

Ingram did not respond to any questions from police.

When the officer tried to place Ingram in handcuffs, he pulled away and turned into the officer. After a two-minute struggle with Ingram, several officers brought him to the ground.

Ingram remained combative as they escorted him to the back seat of a police unit and slipped his handcuffs to the front twice while in the back of the car.

If convicted, Ingram could face two years or more and fines over $1,000.
