Placitas to host children’s St. Patrick’s day event

The Placitas Community Library is presenting a musical program on March 16 at 1 pm for children ages 2-10 and their families featuring the Young Voices of the Santa Fe Opera.

“Children will learn about the structure of an opera; how it tells a story and its’ important elements including props, sets, and movement,” it says in a release.

The featured story book will be “How to Catch a Leprechaun”.

The Placitas Community Library’s Children’s Program Committee and the Placitas Artists Series a responsible for making the event happen.
