RIO RANCHO — One person is in the hospital following an officer-involved shooting near the intersection of Enchanted Hills Boulevard and Bismark Hills NE, according to the Rio Rancho Police Department.
In a Facebook post, RRPD said that at about 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, police were responding to a domestic violence incident that resulted in an officer-involved shooting. "One adult male has been transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound. No officers were injured during the incident," the post reads.
The Multi-Agency Task Force has taken over the investigation.
