Memorial Day ceremony to return to Memorial Park

The annual Memorial Day Ceremony with the city of Rio Rancho is set for 10 a.m. May 27 at Veterans Monument (Memorial) Park.

"Honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country at the City of Rio Rancho's Memorial Day Ceremony," reads a release.

The ceremony will include speeches from city leaders, veterans and family of veterans. There will also be a 21-gun salute and bagpipe players as part of the event.
