Matt Andersen is staying busy in 2023.

The Canadian singer/songwriter had numerous sold-out shows in Canada, a spring tour with Tab Benoit and is gearing up for a summer run with Devon Allman and Donavon Frankenreiter. Tuesday, Andersen announced he is planning a fall U.S. headline tour, supporting his latest album, The Big Bottle of Joy.

The fall tour will make a stop in Corrales on Nov. 16 with a performance at the Historic Old San Ysidro Church. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show featuring special guest Adam Baldwin starting at 8. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Released earlier this year, The Big Bottle of Joy is a collection of 12 songs that pulse with blues, rock, Americana, and gospel energy. The album has earned raves for the accomplished musician and lyricist.

What should I say

If I can’t say hello

Do I replay all of the words you already know

You’ve moved on

And I promise I’ll try

When I see you, on the other side of goodbye

I’ve made my bed

And you’ve made up your mind

To take your love and leave the rest behind

There’s no use in wishing, if the well has run dry

When I see you, on the other side of goodbye

I’ve paid my dues

The coin has been tossed

I’ll follow the rules

Though I’ve already lost

What will I be

What will I do

If I can’t open my arms and reach on out for you

I’ll write you a letter

And expect no reply

When I see you on the other side of goodbye

I’ll just stand aside

And stay out of your way

And pretend I don’t miss you more everyday

I’ll put on a smile

Until you pass by

When I see you on the other side of goodbye

When I see you on the other side of goodbye
