Master observer to speak at RR Astronomical Society meeting

RIO RANCHO — The Rio Rancho Astronomical Society will host its regular monthly meeting on Friday, April 4, at Rainbow Park Observatory, 301 Southern Blvd.

Viola Sanchez, member of the Albuquerque Astronomical Society and a master observer, will speak on the Astronomical League and its observing programs.

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Telescopes will be available for public stargazing after the meeting, weather permitting.
