Master observer to speak at Astronomical Society meeting

The Rio Rancho Astronomical Society will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at Rainbow Park Observatory, 301 Southern Blvd.

Viola Sanchez, a member of the Albuquerque Astronomical Society and a master observer, will be the speaker on the Astronomical League and its program.

The meeting is free and open to the public, and telescopes will be available from public stargazing after the meeting, weather permitting.
