A shelter-in-place order was lifted by 6:15 p.m. Thursday night in the area of King Meadows Park.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Jim Glisson said that the Marshals were executing a federal arrest warrant for a fugitive. “The subject initially didn’t want to come out, but he did,” he said.

There were no injuries. Glisson said more information will be released in the coming days.
