Man sent to hospital with gunshot wound after Subway shooting

RIO RANCHO — A man was sent to the hospital with a gunshot wound around 1:30 p.m. Feb. 19 after a shooting at the Subway on Southern Boulevard.
“The incident is still actively being investigated, however we can confirm an adult male sustained a gunshot wound as a result of the shooting,” RRPD Capt. Jacquelynn Reedy said. “The male was transported to an area hospital for medical care. At this time, we do not believe there to be a threat to the public.”
