RIO RANCHO — A Jemez Pueblo print artist's work will be featured at the third annual Enchanted Vision Art Show Nov. 15-17.

José Toledo, who died in 1994, was a documentary artist who captured the spirit of Native American ceremonies in his watercolor paintings.

"One print, called 'Niman Gift Bearers,' shows the Niman kachina dance celebrated by the Hopi. In the dance, the gift bearers give fruit, dolls, bows and arrows to the spectators as gestures of blessings from the spirits," event organizers said in a news release.

Another print, “Masked Eagle Dancers,” shows dancers petitioning the Great Spirit for acuity of vision.

The two prints are presented at the show by Toledo’s granddaughter, Amy Tang.

The Enchanted Vision show will feature 91 pieces by 34 artists, including paintings, fiber art and photography.

The show opens Friday evening, and runs from 5-8 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Westside Congregation, 1650 Abrazo Road.

Admission is free, and wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

The show continues from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
