Jemez Pueblo DOT shines at National Transportation in Indian Country Conference

The Jemez Pueblo Department of Transportation recently traveled to Anchorage, Alaska, to take part in the 2023 National Transportation in Indian Country Conference.
The conference was held Sept. 24-26 and featured tribal operators from across the county.
Jemez DOT scored the highest team scores at the national Heavy Equipment Roadeo Competition. Also, Vince E. Toya, heavy equipment supervisor/operations manager, earned first place in the Supervisor Category, Excavator Operator, and third place in the Supervisor Category, Motor Grader Operator.
