Applications are now being accepting for Hometown Hero Banners.

The program recognizes men and women who served or are currently serving in the military. It is a chance for Rio Rancho residents to recognized their family member’s military service with a photo on a banner.

The banners are displayed on the center poles along Highway 528 from Westside to Southern blvds. and will be set up on Memorial Day.

Applications, paperwork and a $25 check must be provided by April 12 to the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce office at 4201 Crestview Drive SE, Rio Rancho, 87124.
