Temperatures between 99 and 102 expected today so the Albuquerque National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for Rio Rancho and Albuquerque.

The heat advisory will take effect from noon to 8 pm.

Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
