The Rio Rancho Governing Body is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in Council Chambers at City Hall.

The meeting will be streamed on the city's website and broadcasted on the city's government cable channel 56, RioVision (available to Rio Rancho Sparklight subscribers).

The big item on the agenda for Thursday is a proposed update to the city's noise ordinance.

The governing body first considered this item at its March 14 meeting and postponed taking any action until the April 11.

From March 18-29, members of the public had the opportunity via the city's website to submit suggestions regarding the proposed Ordinance. A special work session of the governing body was held April 1 regarding this topic.
