G&M Cares Fund announced Monday its official launch as a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering community well-being and empowering individuals to make a positive impact on a global scale.

The organization is founded by local business owners Gabe Pacheco and Mark Edwards, who are the proprietors of G&M Medical Center, The Medspa at G&M Medical Center, G&M Urgent Care, G&M Radiant Botanicals SkinCare and G&M Travel.

G&M Cares Fund in Rio Rancho embodies a steadfast commitment to compassion, dedication and the transformative power of education, research and community engagement.

The mission is a dual commitment to education and compassion.

Pacheco and Edwards firmly believe in the transformative potential of education, particularly in the medical, health and wellness fields. G&M Cares Fund is dedicated to providing financial support and resources to students aspiring to pursue degrees in these areas. By investing in the education of future healthcare professionals, G&M Cares aims to strengthen the healthcare workforce, enhance the quality of care and ultimately improve the well-being of individuals and communities.

G&M Cares recognizes the urgent need to address childhood cancer and support local youth programs. G&M Cares Fund is actively involved in funding critical research initiatives aimed at finding innovative treatments and cures for children's cancer. The organization also champions local youth programs that empower young individuals, fostering leadership, skills development and a sense of community.

"Our ultimate aim is to create a healthier and more equitable future for our community," Pacheco and Edwards said in a joint statement. "Through our endeavors, we seek to foster a society where education, health care and opportunities are accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstance."

G&M Cares Fund invites individuals and organizations to join its mission to make a difference.
