Early voting is underway in Sandoval County
Early voting for the 2024 primary election began this week.
Thirty-one people threw their hats in the ring to run for office in Sandoval County on filing day in March. Several races require a primary election to determine who gets a spot in the general election in November.
There are 22 polling locations throughout Sandoval County, including the Office of the Clerk.
“Providing our residents with multiple voting sites at easily accessed locations is a priority,” Sandoval County Clerk Anne Brady-Romero said. “We want everyone in Sandoval County to be able to cast their vote with confidence and convenience. The Bureau of Elections has done an excellent job of securing voting sites to accommodate our residents.”
Absentee, early in-person and mail voting runs May 7 to June 1. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays beginning May 18.
All polling locations are Voter Convenience Centers (VCCs), and voters can vote and same-day register to vote at the most sites during early voting and on primary election day, which is June 4.
