Cuba woman's death under investigation

CUBA — The Sandoval County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a woman in Cuba.

On Feb. 12, the department received a report of a woman in distress and attempted to save her life when deputies arrived. However, she was pronounced dead.

The sheriff's office is investigating the incident. Updates will be provided as information becomes available.
