City seeking applications for PID boards

The city of Rio Rancho is seeking applications for several Public Improvement District (PID) Boards from eligible residents interested in filling the seats.

Eligible people are expected to be registered voters with an address located within a PID’s boundaries. Those interested in applying should do so by filling out an Online Interest Form on rrnm.gov/PIDBoard no later than Jan. 8. The seats up for applications are:

Cabezon PID

Director 4 seat serving a four-year term. The Cabezon PID is a political subdivision of the State of New Mexico formed by the City of Rio Rancho to facilitate the construction of public infrastructure and ongoing maintenance of certain areas within the boundaries of the Cabezon PID. The PID boundaries are as follows:

  • Southern boundary is Westside Blvd.
  • Western boundary is Unser Blvd.
  • Northern Boundary is 11th Avenue SE/North Ensenada Circle
  • Eastern boundary is Walsh Loop/Cereza Drive/Roble Drive/Violeta Circle

Lomas Encantadas/Enchanted Hills PID

Director 1-5 seats. Directors 1, 2 and 3 will serve a six-year term and Directors 4 and 5 will serve a four-year term. The Lomas Encantadas/Enchanted Hills PID is a political subdivision of the state of New Mexico formed by the city of Rio Rancho to facilitate the construction of public infrastructure within the boundaries of the Lomas Encantadas/Enchanted Hills PID. The PID boundaries are as follows:

  • Southern boundary is Kodiak Road/Aidan Drive
  • Western boundary is Sirius Road/Dune Road
  • Northern Boundary is Enchanted Hills Blvd./Mountain Trail Loop
  • Eastern boundary is Mountain Trails Loop/Lookout Road/Kodiak Place

Broadmoor Heights PID

Directors 3, 4 and 5 seats. Director 3 will serve an unexpired term with the option for reappointment. Directors 4 and 5 will serve a four-year term. The Broadmoor Heights PID is a political subdivision of the state of New Mexico formed by the city of Rio Rancho to facilitate the construction of public infrastructure within the boundaries of the Broadmoor Heights PID. PID boundaries are as follows:

  • Southern boundary is Montezuma Blvd.
  • Western boundary is Broadmoor Blvd.
  • Northern Boundary is Kaiser Road
  • Eastern boundary is Galahad Street

Tierra del Oro PID

Directors 4 and 5 seats. Each Director will serve a four-year term. The Tierra del Oro PID is a political subdivision of the state of New Mexico formed by the city of Rio Rancho to facilitate the construction of public infrastructure within the boundaries of the Tierra del Oro PID. The PID boundaries are as follows:

  • Southern boundary is Inca Road/Cardiff Avenue
  • Western boundary is Scotnoy Street/Edinburgh Street
  • Northern Boundary is Hedingham Avenue
  • Eastern boundary is Broadmoor Blvd.
