City Councilor Tyler hosting Meet 'n' Greet this weekend
The city of Rio Rancho has hosted Councilor Meet ‘n’ Greet events throughout summer.
Each city councilor has hosted or will be hosting an event for their district with free ice cream, games, activities and demonstrations by city staff for all ages.
On Sept. 7, it’s District 3 Councilor Bob Tyler’s turn.
Tyler will host his event from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at Mountain View Park, 6441 Grayson Hills Drive NE.
“The District 3 Summer Meet 'n Greet event is coming up, and it's a great chance to meet and talk with folks from District 3,” Tyler said. “We've got something for everyone — free ice cream, games, cool activities and some awesome giveaways. I’d like to see District 3 residents out there, and don’t forget to check the website for other Councilor event details.”
Tyler was elected as District 3 City Councilor in March 2018 to a four-year term. He was re-elected to a four-year term in April 2022.
Tyler is a retired law enforcement officer with more than 25 years of experience and is a veteran who served in the United States Navy. He currently is a training director for a local public safety services company in New Mexico. Tyler has also worked as a vice president and operations manager in the banking industry.
The final Meet ‘n’ Greet event of the summer is for District 2 Councilor Jeremy Lenentine from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at Havasu Park, 3535 Havasu Falls St. NE.
