City Councilor Culbreath hosting Meet 'n' Greet event next week
The city of Rio Rancho has hosted Councilor Meet ‘n’ Greet events throughout summer.
Each city councilor has hosted or will be hosting an event for their district with free ice cream, games, activities and demonstrations by city staff for all ages.
On Sept. 4, it’s District 5 Councilor Karissa Culbreath’s turn.
Culbreath will host her event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Chianti Park, 1210 Chianti Road SE.
Culbreath was appointed to her seat by Mayor Gregg Hull in 2020 and was elected to a four-year term in March 2022.
Culbreath holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from Vanderbilt University. She is medical director of infectious diseases at Tricore Reference Laboratories and associate professor of pathology at University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center.
The schedule for remaining the Meet ‘n’ Greet events is:
District 2 Councilor Jeremy Lenentine: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at Havasu Park, 3535 Havasu Falls St. NE.
District 3 Councilor Bob Tyler: 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at Mountain View Park, 6441 Grayson Hills Drive NE.
