Astronomical Society meeting to cover observation sketching
Master observer and stargazer Kevin McKowen will return to the Rio Rancho Astronomical Society’s regular meeting March 15 to speak on sketching astronomical observations at the Rio rancho Observatory on Rainbow Blvd.
McKowen has been stargazing for more than 50 years.
The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Telescopes will be available for public stargazing after the meeting, weather permitting.
